For those NOT on Facebook, here is our project this past weekend...

Back story: At the Roebling Road PCA Club Race in March, on lap 3 of the first warm up of the weekend, a rod broke. We didn't know it at that time, thought it was just a couple rocker arms. But, once we got back to the shop and took apart the engine, we found this inside:

....and the crank was damaged. We think it broke a rod bolt, but no way to know...

so... we went about sourcing new P&C's, got the crank repaired, and it all came to the shop at 3 pm this past Friday May 3...

Went to the track this past weekend, ran great!...though we corded the rear tires. No engine issues at all. no leaks, nothing...

I will be there soon! I think I saw the shadow of my disassembled engine back there somewhere! Ugly will live again.

I see the picture of your car at CMP, do you ever run SCCA or NASA?

Your car looks great.
I've just finished installing my refreshed motor and hope to have it dyno'd and on the track by june 1st.
Hope to meet up with you sometime this summer or fall.

Tom B.
