The OP brings back the memory of a guy in the Los Angeles Region of PCA who drove his 914 to a dinner meeting. After arriving, he opened his trunk, displayed a large quantity of beer on ice, and loudly proclaimed, "The beer's on me." Funny, almost nobody went inside for the meeting, but the crowd near his "beer trunk" was amazing!

What are you scanning with? The reason I ask is that a friend of mine has a Nikon Coolscan 5000 V (I think that's what it is) that does absolutely fantastic things with old slides. It can almost magically bring back color from faded ones, clear out haze, you wouldn't believe it. No longer in production, brings a premium still on eBay.
Love the old shots. I have to find a few of my old period 914 shots and scan them in.

Terrific photograph and thank you for sharing! However, not exactly my taste in adult beverages. I am much more of a Dos XX man, "stay thirsty my friends."
