Wow the offers for trades you get from there. I was offered from a 911 all the way down to two atvs and a truck.There are some crazy people out there.

Sell your 928, find a beater 914 and swap a Boxster motor into it.

Good thought, but rather than a boxster motor, go with a powerful 911 engine. Boxsters are difficult to transplant into a 914 I must imagine. Where does the water go? And the electronics? No, I'd go with a 964 motor or mid-'80's Carrera 3.2, or if anything a nice SC 3.0. But then again if you're going to go that far ... may indeed just as well buy a Boxster for 15k these days.
