Default Webers vs. new fuel injection kits...?

My '74 2.0 had the Weber conversion done like 25 years ago.
I do not have the pair of carbs anymore, so I am at a decision point...
Noticed these new fuel injection kits out nowadays, like by TEC & Redline (are there others?) and was wondering if anyone was going that route.
Or, are the carbs still the best choice?
Thank you.

If you have the stock cam, FI is the way to go.

I'm replacing the D-jet off of the 2.0L with a 944 Motronic system (upgraded to MAF, Watsed Spark). I will have the original working system (DME, ICV, TPS, Injectors, Distributor, Pressure sensor, wiring harness,..) everything as removed from a running engine for sale in a couple of weeks.

That sounds like a cool set-up.
Never heard of it done before.

I'll take a few pictures over the weekend and post here. Next step is forced induction, single or twin turbos...
