I've not completed nor seen this conversion. I suggest you search for 914 and V-6's. I found one article regarding a V-8.

Thanks Rob for your reply,I think i've seen just about every site there is to see on 914 conversions and not found anybody running factory fuel injection. Maybe i'll have to figure it out my self, thats what hotrodding is all about right?....Thanks again....Steve

Well golly Steve, I don't see how the stock 914 FI could in any way be adapted to work. I would basically adapt the original Corsica FI to the 914 or use aftermarket programmable FI, which basically means finding the 12V source off of the relay plate, and rewiring the fuel pump.

Maybe you miss understood Jeff, what I meant was using the factory injection system that is on the Corsica, would it be as simple as finding the 12 volts on the relay plate and rewirering the fuel pump?....Steve..1971 Porsche 914/1.7

Thats right...you will need the right pump for that engine. The 12V for the stock 914 FI is at the relay pate at wires 16/24 on the 4 pole plug at the end of the FI wiring harness. Check each white wire, they are numbered.

That gives me an Idea Jeff,I'll find those hot wires at the end of the harness and hook them to the fuse block on the chevy harness with the whole blame thing wired back onto the engine while it is hanging on the engine stand and hook some power to the Porsche and see if everything works!!! Thanks for reminding me about the stock fuel injection power plug.....I'll let you know what happens.....Steve
