i'm always laughing & amazed @ what you seem to find @ the swap meets, fabricate & tweak just right. what a talent you have.

one day, i hope to see your baby in person. i love it. so form follows function german.... reminds me how much i love 914's.

merry christmas & wish ya'll the best on '07

I used to fly in and out of Mather when the AF owned it. Went to nav school there in 1981. what a nice town.

Hi Alison, Martin and all!!

Actually - my thanks right back to you two..! Martin has done simply an OUTSTANDING job with the "White Beast" Heck - he found stuff that even I didn't know was there - and fixed it better than I could have (ever )!!

Simply wonderful...!

Waitaminute - you let the dogs ride in the 914s???!!

Seriously - Jen's and my warmest Holiday Greetings to you and Martin - and all on Rennlist (btw: I need to swap out the opening pic for a few days - and then I'll put up Martin's 'teener again... - I think you'll appreciate the new picture, too )

Best to you!

John

Default Great cars for great people

I just have to say that I got to see both of Martin and Alison's sixes and they are as beautiful as advertised. Next time I probably will bring my own rags to wipe my drool off the cars.

Great cars for a great couple of people. Look forward to seeing you again at the kart track....

Sorry to tease you Martin, I have just such a gauge but the I want to keep it. After nearly seven years my 914/6 project is moving again.

She is going to be blood orange and original looking in all aspects.

Engine will be still 2,0 but should have about 130 BHP. The side shifter gearbox is probably the only big change.

It has an extra light compared with the one you want.

I'll keep and eye out here and if that one goes for reasonable moeny I'll get it.

Cheers,

Martin,

I let that oil temp/pressure gauge go as I'm following two of the correct '69/'70 ones now.

Its the one from the 911 F-series that has the silver dot in the middle.

I'll keep you posted,

Default Registration plate?

Martin,

Do you plan to copy the registration plates also?
If yes, do you have good pictures of them, to know what model it was?
