Default PLS HELP!! WTB '79 930 York A/C Compressor

I'm probably one of many looking for a '79 930 York A/C Compressor.
I've tried all dismantlers, Pelican, Google search, eBay etc and have never seen one listed for sale. I have a fully original '79 930 except for the *%#! A/C Compressor and would love to score one to finish off my car.

Any help, ideas or better yet an actual A/C Compressor would be appreciated. I'll pay top dollar. I'm sure they are out there in someone's garage boxed up with other old parts, I just need to locate that needle.

Part #930 126 90100

PS - Each dismantler tells me they have plenty, only when I request a pic they realize it's the wrong one. I need the square York. I've heard they are garbage which is why its been so tough to locate one.

What's your chassis #? The U.S. late-79's used a Nippondenso A/C compressor that should be very easy to find.

#349 with a build date of 1/79
Unfortunately I'm guessing that's not late enough...

With that chassis # it would be a York. I'm suprised there are not a few of these for sale - hope you can locate one.

The York design is able to operate either vertically (as in the '78 and '79 3.3 930's) or horizontally (as in the SC and 930 3.0) and was pretty universal in that it could also operate rotating either clockwise or counterclockwise.

The photo of the York supplied by Pharris409 clearly shows the universal nature of the design. For other than the vertical mount shown, the red-circled face shown could be used for a left horizontal mount (3 pre-tapped bosses circled in white) while the right side of this same compressor has a similar mounting face that was used when a right horizontal mount was needed.

It seems the 3.3 930's used a different model from the SC's and 930 3.0's which may well make them somewhat difficult to source

Gladdens my heart to see an obscure original part united with a determined originalist.
