Rob, you know the rules....or will soon learn them. We all are anxious to assist you in any way possible, but the dues have to be paid first.
Get a camera, do the due-diligence, post some pictures or it never happened.
Welcome aboard!

Looks like the makings of a fine machine, ignoring the little cosmetics to be addressed. There was once a time when I would have loved tackling a project of this nature, but anymore just don't have the drive it takes to stay with it. You'll have to keep us posted of your progress. Got a timeline set for completion?

How about some more detail/history on her?

I work on her every day except for sundays when my missus drags me out of the garage..
At first i thought , how hard can it be, i used to fix computers, this is just a car...famous last words,
Hopefully finished by Xmas this year, but i said that last year too lol..

We'll see

Mr. G....
Man, I know how that is. Start a project and try to fit it into life's normal routine. Might be by Christmas, might be done by 2018. Just don't lose the initiative, stay with it, we'll be here throughout.

Hi its going to be finished in Arrow Blue, i was going to go back to factory but copper Brown isnt for me,
This is an older pic after i finished the first PAint job all done in tiny garage , (ive done it twice more since then as ive never painted a car before, and each time i seem to stuff it up.. last time i had the rear perfect then a can of Acrylic clear leaked slowly down the back of the roof down onto the tail and left what looked like a giant snail trail on it so i did it again Now that im not worried about timeline of any sort as i got a 996 to run around in i can take my time and do it slowly and carefully, the bighgest thing ive noticed is preparation of the metal, which im sure the pros know this lol, Anyway its an experience ill always remember fondly im sure.
Herse a couple of (progression? Degression??) shots
Anyway ill post again when i get another breather and hopefully more experience in this

I bought her in Cab form i was lucky i bought her just before prices went up, because turns out after researching and getting coa, this is the very last last Euro ROW 260hp 3.0 manufactured for 1977 year, and some idiot converted it to a cab??

Oil tank also original just stripped and checked it then repaint. note bumper struts i repainted in duco paint, The Muffler is not stock it is a Monty Muffler, excellent Growl

note petrol line wrapped in aluminum to reflect heat, (Keep Fuel Cool) also used large Aluminum tubing for all Hoses that join with Turbo (keep Air Cool)

IM still working on directing airflow form existing panel holes (The black surround is from a 964 fibreglass body section which runs along the length of the car, this was on the car when i got it as it was almost an all 964 cab conversion

The suspension is also hybrid of 1977 and 1978 from the factory parts bin

Original date stamped headers , lucky!

Floorpan was perfect,

NOW..after welding roof and painting sort of looks like this.. note the fibreglass 964 running boards, i left on and painted black, also will be running 60mm hose from inside guard lower bank of engine exhaust on each side for airflow for better cooling, ..summers are hot here around 40 degrees celcius

Current working on the motor...:
