RWB thoughts
Good evening,
I am an owner of 2 930 Turbos and have been wanting to find out about RWB. Has anyone on here looked into it ? Process ? Costs? Any info would be appreciated. I have tried reaching out to their US operation phone number but didn't have luck getting through to them.
Thanks,
Adam

RWB? BFD
He's doing to late Air cooled cars what wasn't done in there Era? Building a "Clone/Replica" is fine, but looks like these guys who make this crap:http://www.wickedmotorworks.com/show...l_category=996, not for me & that $$ can be spent on replicating a Factory race car & a better investment if resold, IMO.
People actually built car like Magnus's back in the day (sum-what) & raced & tracked em', that's the appeal to them http://magnuswalker911.blogspot.com/

To each his own...if we all had stock 930's I would be bored with the hobby right now. I certainly enjoy what can be done...as long as there is some balance to the interpretation ...I certainly can roll with..l

He also has a shop on Amphlet Blvd in San Mateo, California about 20 min south of San Francisco but it looks like no one I ever there when I drive by.
I think his styling looks great but to me it is nothing that has never been done before... Hell I did it 30 years ago

I personally don't like the "franchising" of Rauh Welt Begriff. I like to think of Nakai-San as crazy-hermit Japanese sword-maker that only the brave, patient and rich would seek out.
You give him your car, you don't tell him what to do, what color to paint, or what to name it. He just looks at you and knows. You leave, you don't call, you don't come back until he tells you it's finished.

^TT Surgeon you are right...RUF is a different league...I would love to own a RUF one day.
RWB was a "rebel" style IMO and that made it cool, but the "franchising" diminishes their value to me...Anyhow, I hope to get in and see them in November while in Japan.

Very cool & artistic video in a Bohemian kinda way but I too agree with Chris. RUF is the only way to go fro an "Old Turbo" conversion.
