The COA for my 77 says lobster, too. But interior expert Bob Budd says that is wrong. He says lobster is more red than the can can red that is in the car. He is using lobster to redo interior. Bob says that the COA process didn't always produce accurate results. I have a picture showing the two together to show the contrast.

I'd call Tony at Autobahn interiors and send him a sample- I don't see russet as an option in 77 only 76, doesn't mean you couldn't get it as a option. COA have lots of issues with accuracy. Check the paint tag mounted to A pillar - interior code should be stamped on tag.

Phil, I thought that you were joking with your original question.

Phil,

As you well know, "Senior moments" are a sign of things to come.......for you. It's only going to get worse, so being the good friend, I'm going to come pick up your Turbos and bring 'em back to your old area code for safe storage ! ! !

I wouldn't want you to have a "Senior moment" at an intersection.

Just looking out for your well being

In spite of his "reputation" The Baron is a sensitive 90's kind of guy. Just don't leave any car key's laying about if he is near.
