Default Clutch Chatter Update

I now have 2K on my rebuild and still have chatter on take off in first gear. The fly wheel surface was good. The PP well within factory specifications. I replaced the disc and TOB just to be safe and the clutch cable. I did not use a new Sachs disc to go with the existing Sachs PP but an after market part just because of the money difference. I have fiddled with the clutch adjustments and the Bowden tube position but no improvement. The clutch was perfect before the rebuild. I now wonder if the non Sachs disc could be the problem. Any other thoughts or input? Will be doing a drop for valve adjustment and retorque and can replace the disc at that time. Would like to avoid total PP and disc replacement if at all possible.

I think it is your clutch disc, if I had to make guess from the comforts of my couch.

Is it a problem to hear a little clutch chatter? I've heard clutch chatter since I bought mine 3 years ago. Its not annoying loud, but noticeable, and obviously goes away when the clutch pedal is pressed. It shifts smoothly once the transmission fluid gets up to temp. I've done a lot of track time, and doesn't seem to be an issue. I always thought this was somewhat normal because it did it when I bought the car and still does it after I had the transmission rebuilt. Thanks!

The clutch was smooth and no problem before the rebuild and new disc and cable so something changed. Should have just stayed with Sachs and not tried to save a buck.
