Default Dash decal

Does anyone know if the 1986 930's were delivered new with a decal on the dash that gave starting instructions?

Interesting...never knew that there is (or was) a decal that told you which direction to turn the key. There's nothing else a person needs to do but turn the key.

My wife used to have an 81 930 (Canadian car in Canada) that still had the original windshield. There was indeed a sticker with something like that. It was right in the left field of view. I kept wanting to remove it but she wouldn't let me. We've since sold the car and the windshield was broken at the new owner's paint shop.

Anyway... I found an old picture. This is the best I can do.

If you look at this car it has a close up. If the link does not work it is under new arrivals. Thanks for the help guys.

Curious that this decal has a 928 part number (928.006.521.00) yet it is mounted on a 911

They are both K-Jetronic... So the procedure is the same.

So the question remains if our cars were delivered to dealers with these on them? Wonder if they were, and most people removed them once they got their cars home?

Guess I can do some more research. I guess the Idea behind it was to prevent first time fuel injection car owners from doing bad things.

Yeah, like the un-informed carburetor crowd who thought stomping on the go pedal would squirt gas to help start things. Nowadays, carbs don't exist and nobody even knows what a choke is.
