Crazy is an understatement! I will share a photo or two when I return. Already on my fb profile...pm me fellow futbol/calcio follower and befriend me if u want, it was really an amazing scene! Posted a video of Milan's player intros at peak pre-game frenzy, packed house, lots of noise! I sat with Barca fans and every time they broke into song, the Italians whistled em dead, it was classic! Nice result for AC Milan, but don't count out the Barca boys at home on the return, gonna be hard to get 2 against a packed in defense, but Messi/Iniesta can find a way

....fairly confident I am hanging on to my 930 now, as I have another car of mine potentially sold and I really don't wanna part with this car. It is a far better example than I think any of you realized. Will update, but not home from this trip yet. Did remove it from eBay, as I would have been obligated to sell at that price, and it is priceless

Sounds like a 2-Nil win. You saw some good soccer and you get to keep a great car.

flame suit securely fastened....

Here is an update for ya'll regarding my 930. To all those interested parties I sent out the following message. Them first and now the public forums. The car demands this, sorry,

...yes, still for sale, but I am moving ask to $115k. I am sure that got a reaction! I am the guy that has and has had some spectacular cars offered the past few years. This 930 kinda trumps them all as original paint, phenomenal condition, is the top of the market standard now, and this car is right there with the 'worlds best condition' '79 930's. I realize it doesn't meet the low mileage competition (59k), but it out shows the rest. They are only original and like this very rarely. It is for the most discerning collector of the Porsche marque, perhaps not so much for the acquirer/flipper. Happy to allow inspection to serious potential buyers.

I am planning to continue to concours prepare, change out stereo and detail/clean is all there is to do really. I may be publicly showing it this 'season' around Northern California (I live Lake Tahoe). I will notify on the forums where it will be shown in case anyone wants to see it compete with other cars or on display here and there.

Thanks for your interest and consideration, regards.

Mike S.

Good luck.. Should we refer to you as Richard Sloan from now on...Seriously, you should stand ground on the ask.

Not quite as much as Sloan’s ’78 light green metallic 930 with 982 miles…now has an asking price of $175K.

Great looking 930. I'll be interested to hear who finally steps forward to purchase.

I love those headlight washer snorkles!

Wonderful looking car! I hope you get every penny of that price.
