Well at the end the day buyers set the market not sellers. If you think car is worth $75k and buyers think it's a $60k car you'll keep car it's that simple.

in this condition, this car is priceless, still have not shown it to even one curious person. The pictures tell the story, look close.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have had it listed on Anamera for months @ $92,500.

I am fairly certain everyone on the planet knows about this 930, lol.

If it's not selling at $92,000 then what do you think, what's wrong with that picture

On your very first post you say you want $69.9k but now you have it listed for $92k. Your car is gorgeous but your price may not be meeting the demand right now. I think somewhere deep inside you, you really want to keep it so that's why you price it so high. That's understandable, she's a beaut....

As nice as your car is, it's not a 92k car.

It's no different than people asking $100,000+ for their 3.6 Turbo's with over 70K miles

Thanks for all the comments...I think, lol.

Ya, I kinda screwed up the sale (or lack of), with my $$ adjustment. I woulda regretted selling at $69.9k so I corrected and the rest is history, lol. Does not diminish that this 930 is a mind blower, so for now, it stays at the high price that it deserves. I don't care what the 'market' says its worth, until you've seen it, how can you give it a valuation? I wish the most knowledgeable Porsche expert in the world would scrutinize it and then estimate its value. I am confident I have it right

Well you all WERE acting civilized and nice....funny how it brings out such reckless comments and emotions when you have a REALLY special car, what are you gonna do? Do you all think I am new at this? Do you think there are any erroneous claims made anywhere? Do you think I am a flipper and not a collector of AMAZING examples of this or other marques? I run into this nearly everywhere in Al Gore's Internet world, lol.

I am always gonna take a high road and remain FIRM when I have a car like this and am offering it to the world. Am NOT desperate to sell, so will always have it priced where it belongs. The opportunity is there to acquire it, but you gotta pay higher price for highest quality or no sale....fine with me.

Don't let it get personal and start berating me publicly, what is that all about anyway? Don't got something nice to say.....

People on these forums are smart, well educated and passionate about the marque and want to acquire cars they are gonna do well with when they sell. That wasn't in my thoughts when I first acquired it more than 10 years ago. No thought of resale, profit, etc. I do have experience and a good eye when it comes to collecting fine cars, and this 930 is another example of that. Strong and confident in my a$k.

M
Nobody is dissing you, we're just trying to help you price it given the market.
Please don't take offense at the well meaning comments of the board. Listen to them instead.
If you were the buyer, would you drop 90k on your car?
I think it's a great car, just priced over the market at present. Do check out schooners, he's a euro broker, that's the best shot to get top dollar for your ride.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! The other observation is what else can $92k buy in today's market?
Those looking for performance can pick up a nice GT3, while those wishing the classic 911 look can include turbos thru 1989 that have the same lines as a '79 and may also be classified as the "last of its kind". Just have to find someone with the same '79 mindset and the deal is done!
