Default Modern FUCHS wheels on vintage 930?

Has anyone tried fitting the modern Fuchs available today on a 930? I'm thinking it cannot be done, but dunno for sure.

Sure you could, you'd need a 1.5 or 1.25" spacer in front, in the back you'd have to use the stock 28mm spacer.

Default 18" 3 piece wheels

If you build a set of 3 piece wheels then you can eliminate the rear spacer and can use a rear outer rim of 4.25/4.75" deep and make a 11 or 11.5" rear wheel. I do this all the time. jdorociak@gmail.com Jim

Cool wheels Jim D, look great! Obviously the one is a TechArt, the last appear to be Speedlines (etching in the barrel), the first ones OZ?

I saw a picture of the "Sport Classic" Faux Fuchs on a slantnose, at 19" they're way too big IMO.

I've also never liked the idea of using adapters, (the spacers you would need would be adapters) due to the extra set of lugnuts and extra strain on the hubs.

Take care!
