Default Looking for 930 shell, cash ready to pay!

I want to buy a 930 shell that has interior. I don't really care about condition of the interior. I would appreaciate it more if the dash isn't cracked. Exterior doesn't have to be good, just all the parts are nice (means straight and no bondo, rust and intact.) Title should be clear (minor accidents are okay.) I don't care about mileage, engine or tranny. Willing to pick up within 2-300 miles from DC.

The 86' Euro 930 roller on eBay is too nice for my project and I don't want to waste it.

I know that one, but for what I'm gonna do with the car you guys gonna hate me and plus it's kinda waste of a perfect shell like that. I'll still keep an eye on it though.

I just ran an auto check on that 86'. It does have auto check report. Seller tries to avoid the free auto check report on eBay by not entering the vin. Last odometer reported in 2005 was 180k. The car landed in CA in 1994 with 28k on the clock. With all the info of auto check exposed, it won't go much. I love to lay hands on this thing though. We'll see!

Does it have to be a factory widebody tub?

Yes, isn't it the best part of the 930?

Not sure what you mean. The first tubs had the flares added on the assembly line.

There was a thread about a week ago on Pelican about a 930 parts car from craigslist. I believe it was a non sunroof car with some body damage.

Budge96 you have a pm. Gasman, I'm trying to look for that shell. Pelican site has more parts for sell than this site. Is that where most of you guys sort for parts? Also I have a question to ask if you guys don't mind. I've seen some normal 930 have the air vents in both rear quarter panel, and all of slantnose have that air vents thing. Was that an option that you can order back in the day or was that only for stantnose? Thanks!

This is what I've found, 82' 911 with factory 930 look.

Although it's not a real 930 sigh ... it fits my purpose and it has the 930 look and all. And on top of that I don't get burnt trying to pay for a whole 930 and not gonna use any parts of the powertrain. If I buy this, I'll ditch the 3.0L flatsix and tranny. If they're both in good working condition, how much could I sell them for anybody knows? Thanks!

ROFL There is no where in German Porsche database system that shows the 86' slant nose roller on eBay has the option code 505. That car and the seller are so shady.

I believe the boxed rockers with rear vents was a slant nose delete option. In other words you get everything except the slant nose. Someone who knows more can chime in to verify.
