The old rule of thumb was one bar of pressure for each 1000 rpm. In the manual it actually says that the low pressure warning light may come on at idle but it is to be ignored. 1 to 1.5 psi is ok for idle. I put synthetic oil in my car and did not notice any difference in the pressure readings.

I am new to porsche so the RSR part is something I am just finding out about. It has RSR on the trunk so expected it was some sort of clone. I am going to Dyno the car for tuning purposes as soon as it is delivered. I am in Orange County CA or Riverside CA if anyone has any good suggestions on who to use for the tune that would be great! Thanks again for the input!

911Rudy - Hate to be nit-picky but I think you mean the rule of thumb is 1 bar per 1000 rpm with a minimum of 4 bar at 4,000 rpm.

Good point about the K27s, no way that is going to make 500hp even at the crank. It is a good looking car, i dig the red.

You are right, one bar per 1000 rpm. I need to go to a bar after that one.

Not trying to be a pest but did you get a PPI? If there is an RSR badge on it somewhere its just a badge there is nothing RSR about the car, its a nice modded 930.

Are you expecting it to pass CAlifornia emissions tests?

I got the car this weekend! Very excited to say the least. I took it for a long cruise down PCH on sunday and the car did great! I also had my back surgery so the hour and a half drive drained me. The car is super nice needing only a few minor things like I had thought. There is some minor weld splatter on the windsheild from the rollcage and the sunroof jammed up on me, needs new tires and a piece on the dash is missing. All we did was a compression check and leakdown and everything passed with flying colors. The car is faster than I need but I will hang on to her until the right buyer comes along.

As far as california emmissions I would like to register in CA but if I cannot I do have a AZ drivers license and address so I guess I could keep it AZ registered. Ill post some pics as soon as I find time to take some.

What is something like this worth? Right now the boost is set at .8 BAR should I be fine running 91 octane? It has electromotive cranktrigger ignition system does anyone know of anyone in orange county that can tune this system? I have a floppy with some different mapings. Thanks for any input!

Looks like im taking the car to vision motorsports in laguna hills. They seem like the place to go for a car like this in the orange county area.
