Yes I have seen it in person. It needs work from what I remember, interior and the like. If you want to use it for a track car it might not be bad but far from a show car.Rick is a great guy give him a call, if you need me to help out lmk. Tim

I already know it needs interior work. How would rate the body? Do you remember what other work it might need other than the interior? I would be looking to restore the car. Just want to find out more before I waste my time.

That yellow 930 just had a strange story last week.
The car was supposedly sold to a bidder on EBAY. Then the bidder saw the car and backed out of the deal. I have been trying to contact the bidder but have not found out the story.
I think the car might have had some kind of damage or something going on because the seller has a record on his own EBAY account on Jan 6th of buying a 964 bumper piece. And the piece he bought was not a pretty one. Just check the history of the seller's transactions on ebay.
This is potentially a red flag car IMO. There has to be some reason that the car didn't sell. And the tone of the owner on his Ebay ad became hostile this last week, saying absolutely no PPIs after bidding ends.

Owner/seller is same guy and he is most likely a flipper.
He just sold a BMW and he now has another porsche and his ebay ads always claim that he is the owner and has owned the car for x amount of years. He also claims to have spent outrageous sums of his own money (150K/200K) on the cars even though the actual work is listed as done by the PO.
I just think that anybody looking to sell a car for that amount of money would have allowed a post bidding inspection. That whole objection just came up after this last week after the car supposedly sold but then got relisted for about the 12th time. The re-listed ad clearly states 'no post bidding inspections'.
We all know that an honest seller is not going to quibble about a PPI on a car which has not sold in four or five months in this economy, whether it happens before or after the ebay listing ends.
Bill, let us know how this all turns out for you and what you find out. I am still emailing the guy that turned the car down to find out why.
