For the wheels & brakes, quoting the numbers from a book by Marc Bongers in stock form:

the 89 930 has 16" wheels and the brake discs are (front/rear) 304x32/309x28
the 3.3 964T has 17" wheels and the brake discs are (front/rear) 322x32/299x28
the 3.6 964T has 18" wheels and the brake discs are (front/rear) 322x32/299x28

They all had 4 piston brake calipers as did the turbo models prior to 89. In the Bongers book the calipers for all but the 3.6 964T were black and the 3.6 964T had red calipers. Don't honestly know if there was some real differences as well, or just the cosmetic color difference.

Also the 964T brakes were ABS.

The most notable difference between the 964T and the 930 suspension was that the 930 utilized torsion bars whereas the 964T utilizes coils.

For the transmission the 89 930 had a 5 - speed G50/50 whereas the 964T had 5-speed G50/52. I understand that the G50/52 is a stronger transmission while the G50/50 is the more rare one since it was used for only the 89 model year. Also the G50/52 for the 964T came with a 20/100 LSD while for the G50/50 the LSD was optional. The gear ratios for both transmissions were the same.

There are a whole bunch of differences between the 964T cars and the 930 cars. However, they still both utilize the CIS system. For stock EFI you'd have to look at the 993TT.

While I believe the 964T cars were more refined and put out more power than the 930, the attraction with the 89 930, as with all 930 cars is the fact that they do not have those refinements and are the more raw cars.

For the 1989 model year the turbo was a 930 while the non-turbo models were 964. The stock 89 930 also has a 3.3 engine. The reason I keep saying 'stock' is because just about everyone does something to their cars. While I quite like the 930 bumpers, there's a lot of 930 owners who prefer the 964 bumpers and 'upgrade' their cars.

I have a correction for post #4 above - in 1989 not all non-turbo models were 964, there was a 1989 911 Turbolook Speedster that was still a 'G-Series' 911 Carrera as well as a non-Turbolook 911 Carrera Speedster and a 911 Carrera Clubsport (Targa and Coupe). - Sorry about the confusion.
The 1989 Carrera 4 was a AWD 964 with ABS brakes etc.
