Update
Okay, not as far along as I had hoped however the body work is picking up again. The shop has a window to knock out the paint and we finally made a decision on the rocker panels...
As you can see in the last 4 pictures the rocker panels don't look like they'll fit easily, they're from AIR's 911 GTR series but the only ones that flare out almost enough.
The point to the rockers is that with the midsection of the car up so high without rockers compared to the ultra low front bumper, it just doesn't look right to me. I know its not historically accurate but I'm not out to copy the mid year 935, I'm making it my own.
The catch with the rockers is that they'll be bonded to the body, as with such modification to them, there is no other way to have them removable, plus this will help the lines flow better anyhow.
All jacking of the car will be done with airjack assistance so I don't see any problems there.
Anyway enough of me jabbering...please enjoy the bodywork **** threw in a pic of the 19"s just because

Ahh screw it, i'm too excited! Some people say that the satin paint loses some of the sexy curves...this proves that the 930 in any variation is TRULY a sexy and amazing car.

That truly is sexy...Im glad you didnt wait to post those!
Do you have a wash procedure planned? Do they plan to give you tips on the best way to care for the paint? (Im assuming it isnt cleared...but it could be)

Thanks for the kind words guys, she's going to be assembled in a few days, getting the windows tinted 35% all around, then we start on the interior!
On the paint, many people have been asking, its PPG Black with a flexed n' flat clear coat that once mixed in will yield a satin finish but still have a clear coat. Its decently hard to shoot as it shows ALL imperfections in both bodywork and in painting style, but its worth it I think.
Never have to wax, just wash and enjoy.
Mike, I know you're way busy, but I like to check in on my favorite 951 guy Hope all is well.

That satin *really* came out nice - you must be giddy! Beyond expectation. I so love you chose that color, I always joke about painting my //S8 in matte or satin like that. Rock on.
Just a thought on the tint... I went with 35% on the sides of my former //S6, however 20% for the rear. With the black gut I found it acheived the effect of an overall much darker appearing tint w/o the compromise of legality and / or outward visibility. Best of both worlds IMO, something to consider. My //S8 on the other hand came w/ 10% (!!!), oy is that dark. I use The Force backing up, had to remove my 50w halogen reverse bulbs as they were melting the lenses - damn. I loooooove the privacy, checking out the ladies on the road and all and picking my nose and such, buuuuuuuut f'n A is it DARK.
Keep up the good work - you rule 8-). Between your car and that burg. 934 that was just purchased here, man oh man... fun candy to chew on certainly.

Paul - thanks man, the color came out better than I expected a treat for all involved. On the tint, 35% is the legal limit in TX, and with a straight piped exhaust, headlights in my bumper...I didn't want to push it 100% of the way I had limo tint all around on my first 944 and a 7" black vinyl strip on the windshield. Loved the privacy but got pulled over all the time etc. I didn't want to have to tint the windows, but it should help pull off the ultimate darkness I'm going for. Thanks for the kind words.
Daley: Thanks man, I don't know if this is Excellence's flavor 935 wanna be but I'll shoot Mr. Stout an email when she's done and see if they want to give it a go.
All: thanks for the kind words and inspiration, she's finally taking shape and i'm glad I can share it with all of you!
