Ah yes, "two weeks." I have lost track of the number of times that phrase was used with me by wrenches. Only recently did I finally figure out that they work on a 6 week year...

I have never wanted to add receipts due to lack of health insurance

My least favorite words are "I'll get it out to you today". Bull****!

Yes, it is definitely not contiguous time. It maybe 2 weeks, but over a couple of months.

All of these mods and only 324 RWHP?

On my first 930, Monster I stopped counting at 180K. It went through 4 different builds, 3 different body and paint jobs. That also included the car. I don't count any more. It just is not good for my health. I would bet you that Bruce has twice that amount in his 930. I think he is the only one that changed his car more than me.

325 at wheels.... Well if you think it is low with those mods, try flipping the bill for them and see only 325. But it was 75 more then I started with. I did only pay $50 for the dyno and they only used an old fan behind the car, no ice on the intercooler and it was close to 100 degrees here in Fl.

Deciding to build a turbo race car from a 3.2 carrera narrow bodied shell for a gestimated price of £20K which became £50K. Went well made around 400bhp at 1 bar and won its class many, many times. Sold for £25K a good few years back and is still around racing today. It's nick named the animal. Weighed 1100kg and handled like a sack of poo.
Having been down this slippery slope a few times with race cars I avoided it like the plague with the 964 3.6 turbo but on the odd occasion now and again I think about doing something daft with the engine. All thoughts of this are now gone as I decided the only sensible way forward was to spend an awful lot of money on a Porsche built for the job a 993GT2EVO totally factory original. Keep repeating after me "I must be content"

Default mods to regret

Re doing the interior, headliner carpets etc and then tearing it all out for my rollcage. 3 different mufflers and then then running a straight pipe off the turbo. Buying street tires and wheels and then towing it for track use.....the list keeps going on.
