Default VERY Ingenious AFR Meter Install On A 930 - Pic!

Love this install - one of the best I have seen, A+++ for location, stealth but hate these gauges as they are not calibrated though....

It would be cool if someone like Hollywood Speedo could do an analog one to replace the boost gauge. I use a dual analog a/f gauge in the clock location for the racecar.

smart Idea!!
I need to check the boost gauge voltage,
maybe one of my Zeitronix outputs fit
or is adaptable to the boost gauge.

best would be to have a replacement gauge
to play a little with dial layout

Too bad that is a narrow band O2 sensor and is worthless in measuring AFR anytime but at cruise and near 14.7:1 AFR.

I used a pair of LC-1's (wide band) to a Westach dual analog gauge. You can adjust the voltage to the gauge. If you could get that to work with the boost gauge needle then you would just need to change the numbers on the gauge face. I'm sure it's more involved, but figured I would throw it out there.

Hmmm, that looks exactly like my Tach, except that on mine, that meter is the remote-mounted escort warning. Remember the old-school escorts with the "6x6 extruded aluminum housings and weighed a good 2-3 lbs?

BTW, according to NHS, they were the ones that modified mine for the PO in '89.
