Default New Bell I/C

I'll be converting to EFI this year and needed a new I/C that would be compatable with my 3.2 intake so I contacted Gerhart at Bell Intercoolers and here's the results. Custom mounting brackets and inlet/outlet piping will need to fabricated along with silicon hose couplings but I think this baby puts me one step closer.

That is exactly the same one that I had. I bought mine after I saw DonE's in person. I believe Don and Gerhart came up with the drawings for that I/C. About $600.00 cheaper than a new Koklyn..... I will be putting my motor together in two weeks, and then it's off to fab up some mounts for the I/C...

Good purchase!!!

Wow, I'm impressed you could keep the AC and its condenser. Neat kit.

Looking good, JWL.

What are the core dimensions?
4.5" x 10" x 27".

Think it'll work good on your 600 rwhp project ?

What really impressed me was the fact that you can run the B&B together with that new Bell IC...now that is what I call Cooling...its actually quite chilling.

1215 cubic inches????
That's the core only? (not including end tanks)
That's a core for over 1000 HP.

I bought my core from Bell (4.5x10x25). They are one of the few reasonably priced items we'll find for these cars.

I'd love to see what it takes to modify/fit that IC in pictures and a parts list with costs if it isn't too much trouble. Also where to get all the parts would be great too!

By the dimensions, is this the one?

4.50" x 27.10" x 10.00" 2178 CFM - $790.00 Part# A450271100

I also have a different request - would it be possible to weigh one of these?

thanks!
