Gary, That may be the one, but this I/C and mine, as well as the I/C that the others have bought is more than that price wise.... That price just might be for the core. That does not include the end tanks, inlet and outlet, welding, shipping, etc. It is closer to $1350.00 when you add all of that up. Which, IMHO, is still about $600.00 or so cheaper than a new I/C from Kokeln.... If you are staying CIS, than IMHO, the Kokeln is the best ticket. HOWEVER, if you are going 3.2L intake and EFI, than for the money, This one is perfect.

This I/C does not have any mounts, so it is up to the end user to fab those. Along with a couple of lengths of silicone hose, a 90' deg bend, and it should fit fine. Not complicated at all.

PT, I have not weighed mine, but it is heavy, possibly 35lbs to 45 lbs

What I have seen on intercoolers on numbers they can potentially support (lots of factors here of course - location, heat soak, ambient temp, core and tank design blah blah...):

A core that is 3.5" thick x 20" wide x 8" tall will support around 450hp

A core that is 3.5" thick x 24" wide x 12" tall will support around 650+hp

I only bought the core from Bell. I did all the design and machine work and had a welder at work do the welding. It is modeled after DonE's though. I'd fab one bracket, take it to work to be tacked on, fab the next one, back to work to weld the first one and tack the second, and so on. There's a few special touches like the bell shaped outlet at the back of the intercooler and smoothing all the welds inside the tubing.

I wish I knew how much power it makes. It's still at the tuners trying to figure out a CAN error on the Motec M600 before final tuning. I haven't been pressing him too hard because I've needed the garage space for a kitchen project (all my projects move slowly ) I'm getting pretty anxious though.

David, could you tell me what exhaust you are running? Is it a cat or muffler? I fancy dropping my muffler on my C2T, but given I have already bypassed the cat, I will need some sort of muffling...

I made the exhaust with 304 tubing and a 3.5" x 12" muffler from Burns Stainless. I've only driven it about 300 miles before I handed it over to my tuner so I don't have a good feel on how loud it is. From the little time I'vd had, I think it's going to be a too loud. I may try a 17" long Burns muffler before trying something more restrictive.

I am running a very similar muffler made by Coast Fabrication.(It is my understanding that Coast makes the mufflers for Burns Stainless). The muffler came packed with the stainless scrubble option and was louder than I would have liked. After about a month I repacked it with Stainless wool and the difference is amazing. Still agressive, but the "edge" is gone. Try repacking before you swap out mufflers. I bought the stainless wool off of Ebay in a 10 foot length.
