Default SSI Header - Turbo muffler kit?

I was told by a reliable (he was today anyway... ) source that I could use the SSI headers from my SC with excellent results on a (soon to be mine) 82 Euro 3.3 930 and there is a kit available for the rest of the system. In searching here I didn't find anything about it. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I saw those too on Pelican. However I think that they are too long and you will not get the full benefit of having short headers. The theory is that the shorter they are the less turbo lag there is.

No you will not. You still have a much longer circuit than headers.

YUK! I agree with all above. The response would be crap! If you're doing this on a budget for your SC, I'd recommend at the very least a Euro 930 Heat Exchanger setup (the one with the J-Pipe).

No no no... no budget, looking for different solutions and the SSI idea was presented to me for just another choice. It's obvious from the photos that the route to the turbo is substantially longer than with a good (no heat) header design.

Sorry for not being clear, I meant compared to another design I was looking at without heat collectors..

It seems if you are on a budget then B&B from Stephen Kaspar of http://www.imagineauto.com will do you proud.

If you have a big budget then get some made by Bob Holocombe http://www.modeinc.com or Marco Manzie http://www.billetdesign.com as they are better than B&B.

Been hearing good things about Schnell.. pretty cheap, doubt if they will hold up with a steady diet of track use...
