Gaijin..... O M G! Someone has a 930 like mine! Mine is a 1979 model, #1067 off the line. Light Blue Metallic exterior and a Black interior. I have seen exactly four other cars in this color - an SC at Rennsport Reunion II, another 79 930 here in the DFW area and yours. Pretty awesome.

And for the last time, my 930 was on the track this past weekend at Texas World Speedway in College Station for a DE. Scared the pants off a few drivers behind me as we spooled up coming out of the road course and onto the banked straight. Wind her up to 6500, clutch/shift, BOOM! with flames out the wastegate, then do it all over again. What fun. 135-140MPH just before the end of the straight headed into turn 1. Thank God for 930 brakes! Man oh man. This baby was screamin' this weekend. But its track days are numbered..... I saw a 964 shell an engine and decided that I can risk my Tweety Bird, but not the 930!

For those of you who have not mastered the art of reducing pics down to a e-mail level you can get help! Go to google.com and down load picassa. This is a free picture editing and collecting program that is great. Once you get the program send any pic you want to down size to the program and then double click on that pic. When you do this the pic will fill the page and you will have a tool bar at the top. click on "File" and then "Export folder". Choose a place to send the new pic, ie; desktop, and then it offers you a slide bar to change the pixel size. Pick 480 or less and then click "Ok". Now when you want to send a pic to the forum your new pic will be on your desktop and the proper size. If only we could do our ***** this way!

Another good "free" picture re-sizer is Microsoft Powertoys for windows XP.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx
Open the link above and look down near the bottom right side of the page and download the ImageResizer.exe file, then all you have to do is right click on your image and a drop down menu pops up. Simple.

Personally i would advise you to open a free account with http://photobucket.com/ once you have your free account open you just upload your pictures one by one and they are each given a url link like this one http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...bouttogoin.jpg
All you do then is copy and past it into your message like i have done above, then highlight it by dragging your mouse across it and click the "insert image" tab, it's the one that looks like an envelope, that basicaly puts at the end of it with no gaps, then hay presto when you post your reply there are your full size images, no need to shrink your pics and no limit to how many you can post because your free photobucket account is hosting them, easy as ABC, only took me about a month to figure it out

While i'm at it i'll throw in a couple of my little beauty

I use www.flickr.com it's similair to photobucket. No need to resize, just upload and post using the img code.

Photos taken about five years ago before I installed the Kinesis Supercup wheels and Euro H4s.

These was in stock trim with painted Porsche crest wheel caps as the only mod (I still have all the OE items packed away for posterity).

Note the factory headlights and headlamp washer nozzles first introduced in model year 1980 Porsche 911SC and Euro 930.

Be careful parking your car in that high, dry grass, Gaijin.
