gaijin - I almost missed the Petite Lemans this past year stopping to look at your car. I"m pretty sure it was your car. If so, it is much nicer looking in person than it is in the photos. What a great looking car!

Thanks for all the compliments!

Here's some photos taken last month. Sally (our 930) and her garage mate, Gretel (our 928 S4) before taken them both for a nice country drive.

Brief rest stops to enjoy the scenery.

gaijin - Who did you get to paint the 930? Do the interior?

EddieC:

Exterior paint is still all original with the exception of the rear bumper. The heat from the GHL twin-pipes started to "blister" the paint and the paint shop supervisor at Panoz Auto Development did the paint/match.

No more issues since adjusting the exhaust pipes.

Interior is all original.

Documented 35K.

The hood and front bumper has some road rashes. I chalk it as patina.

Here's a couple of close-up from last spring's Mitty Challenge:

Another one overlooking T11 and Pit-In:

Simply stunning, gaijin. Gorgeous color, and those wheels make it perfect.

Outstanding! All original. That's quite impressive. I'll keep an eye out for the car next time I go to Road Atlanta.

rbennett, I think it is a 3.6 94 front.I got it frome Getty Design. I did some modifications to it. When I took those pics the car was not totally done. I am missing the rocker panels and some lights in the front and screen over the oil cooler in front. I am just finishing it up for spring.

Well, I finally took a few minutes to post some pictures. I've been reading this forum for a time now (5-6 years) but I never presented myself.
I bought my 930 in 2001 and like enjoying it every day I drive it.
I live in Quebec so right now, the car is in the garage waiting for the spring.

Some "old" pictures taken in 2001 :

And a more recent one from this fall taken in the evening :

When I bought the car it was completly stock. I did only minor mods in the first years but last summer was a total transformation for the 930 :
3.4 pistons, Racing cams, Carillo rods, Kokeln Intercooler, K27-K29 Turbo, 0.9 Bar Waste Gate Spring, Boost Controler, Fuel Enrichment, Exhaust FVD, brakes cooler, pagid orange pads and 3.6 RH Wheels...

Well, I haven't posted in a long time due to work. However, I FINALLY got my engine all together, putting it in the car this week.

And for those who haven't seen it, this is where the engine is going.

To me, the 930 will always be the zenith of 911 style.

Very nice collection, all of you. Keep 'em going.
