i do not remember the exact measurements of the wheels. i believe the fronts are 9" and the rear 11". they might be a bit wider i will have to check the invoice. tires are 235/40-18 front and 295/30-18 rears ( i think- it has been a while since i put them on) i went with the reccomendation for sizes from HRE, i figured they were going to make the wheels so they should pick the size. my mechanic who set it up for the track (corner weights and ride height) told me they picked the perfect sizes and that is what he would have suggested. car turns in well and has unbelieveable traction with the Yokohama Advan Neova's.

Beautiful cars! I have a question since I am due for a respray next month and am batting around a couple of ideas. Has anyone ever seen a 930 with the rear bumperettes off? I had to remove them for the spraying and was wondering how it would look without them They seem to me to be out of proportion to the rest of the car. Except for the black rubber lid surround, the bumperettes are the most prominent thing on the rear of the car. There is only three holes for each one so filling it in would not be a big deal. I am also thinking about painting the black intake area on the top of the lid the same color as the car. I was suprised to find out that it is not a seperate piece but just painted black. One other thing that I discovered is if you want to remove the fender-to-body vinyl strip at the corners of the windshield and fender, a gadget called a "Sidewinder" works great on that one fender bolt inside the door/fender well. I have every tool known to man but I didn't have this one. Also, can someone tell me what finish of black their slantnose collectors are. I am assuming semi-gloss but can't seem to find it anywhere. Here is a pic of the parts I have taken off so far and the "Sidewinder".

SHOCKM did it. Looks great. I think he welded up all the holes, sanded them down and painted it.
I went the cheapo route by adding a backer, filling all the holes in with Bondo and painting it in the driveway. It looks good, but you can see some small outlines of some holes. It was an experiment, but I'll do it SHOCKM's way next time.
