What did you use to tune it though?

SMT-7 piggyback made by Perfect Power connected to my laptop via serial port. Full speed/density control. I had a friend ride shotgun and we'd drive around on country roads and set the fuel delivery, then adjust the timing, starting with light loads and working up to WOT. We were using the LC-1 wideband and its pretty accurate, but a bit slow. Even after that, the dyno was able to get rid of alot of flat spots, fix our tuning mistakes (adding fuel instead of pulling timing), and make the car pull much harder as well as be more driveable.

Kirk,
I have a very similar unit and am having problems. I hooked up the five wires as stated but when I push the remote the receiver box clicks but the doors don't do anything. Any ideas? I tried blue to blu/brn and to gr/brn and neither worked. My manual is just like Dirk's on the pelican site above.
UPDATE!!!!
I failed to notice that the blue and green wires on the receiver were not the two on the main wireing harness but two small wires that plug into it. I hooked them up to the oppisite colors ie; green wire to brn/blu and blue wire to brn/grn and all worked fine. My manual says that the doors will lock when the ign. is turned on and should unlock when it is turned off but it won't unlock. So I am stuck with the same problem as stated above.

Rudy,

In the manual for my controller it has programmable settings, and the ignition on/off lock/unlock feature that you are describing is defaulted to be off.

Could it be a programming issue?

I skipped that part of the install anyway.

I tried to use the programable program but was unable to change it. I was able to get the auto lock feature removed but I couldn't get the auto unlock to work. I seem to have an issue getting the receiver into the programable mode. Oh well, it locks and unlocks the doors so I am happy.

I can get the LM1 about a block from where I work for $290 out the door. A local Ricer shop has one left at $290. If I can help someone with it let me know. I bought one for myself and really like the Record and download feature.

Default For those who followed and helped in this thread.. thanks

Here is a couple of runs with my LM-1. (first one had a small boost leak which I fixed).

I used the tailpipe clamp so I can't 'adjust the car to 3% CO at idle'. I think if I did that it'd be way off. It runs at like 7%CO according to the gauge. but the WOT application looks good!

My LC-1 O2 sensor is placed 3" after the turbo and using the XD-14 gauge, I set my idle AFR to 11:1. I think this is close to a 7% CO. With typical upgrades and the IA FH I now see 12.2:1 on the gauge at 6600rpm-ish.

I just bought the Innovate DL-32, now I just need to install it so I can start logging and stop worrying.

I don't do any track at all, it's basically just bursts on the highway when I get a chance.

she runs good so far.. so I'm not going to worry to much about the idle AFR. She's real rich when cold, but makes her way up to 12.5 or so once warm.
