Slumming? That's a good one! Some of the 930s on this board have engines worth more than my car!

Here is my old '73 with 930 flairs. Same 9&12x15 wheels with 345 rears. You can stuff a lot of tire under these cars with just a few easy mods.

Have a look at this image, I have combined some wheel specs for both front and rear on the same diagram. I will measure tire to wheel lip clearances this weekend and post the results. As for the inside, I'll do my best, since you really want the suspension to be at ride height when you measure.

The center caps are from CCW. They are only available when you get the "street" wheels, and are installed from the backside of the wheel. The cap gets sandwiched between the wheel and the hub, and can only be removed when the wheel itself is removed. They are also what makes the wheels hub-centric. The "track" model wheel, which is I think what you have, is lighter, as it has more weight reducing measures such as extra holes on the outer perimiter, as well as extra holes around the lugs, and no center caps. I just liked the clean look of the "street" model, and decided against the weight savings. This was a sacrifice purely for looks... The track wheels do look cool on your ride. The car looks ready to eat-up the track.

Thanks! I don't have an eye for detail, and missed the now obvious differences in the wheels.

I do have the track version, but didn't know CCW also made a street version. The caps do give them a more finished look.

I was thinking about doing RUF front lip or even RUF replica bumpers for the widebody but those look very nice and i'm not real big on fibreglass bumpers....

The bumpers are C2 Turbo fiberglass parts I bought from TRG several years ago for my 964 3.8 RSR conversion.

What are you guys running for tires in 17" / 315 sizes? There seem to be very few choices. The yoko A032Rs seem to be out of production. It seems like Victo Racers maybe the only choice. Maybe there are Sport Cups in that size. I am looking for DOT-R Compounds.

Hoosier has tires in that size as well, but it would barely pass for street use. As for non-DOT-R tires, I think the most aggressive one would be the BF Goodrich G-force KD:

yes but the widest ta kd's you can get are 285's i just got em for my car wanted something wider but the ta's widest i could get was 285

Removed factory 1" turbo spacer. 18x11.5, 7.6" BackSpacing, 34mm Offset?
305/30/18 Kumho Ecsta V700 tire...
fit without rub or modifaction with a 4" outter lip in the rear?
i'm pulling the rims off this weekend to measure everything to be sure it will clear the calipers... just wanted an option if this MIGHT work.
