German for sure is the real deal.
Mind you the British DP has a very impressive 930 on their site (600hp).

DP stands for Deutsche Plastics. The second one is the real deal. DP used to make the body parts and Kremer used to do the engine modifications.
During the late 70s and through the 80s they were a lethal combination. Awesome machines. I wish I had one.

That pic is of one of the Type 1 DP 935's, the monster HP race version. From what I've heard, they are pretty well dedicated track cars.
The Type II, (like I have) is the more "civilized" version with air conditioning, etc., that could more easily be used as a daily driver.

Oh.. I should also mention that the German URL is the "real" URL.
I emailed them a while ago asking about replacement decals for my car, they they were very cool about it and said that they were going to send me complimentary replacements... including the windshield "DP MOTORSPORT" decal.
They seemed REALLY nice, even though they don't have much info or involvement with the original early run cars, as that was the father's shop. (It was eventually taken over/handed down to the son).
