Big buying dilemma: SC or 930....?!
I have the opportunity to buy either a gorgeous black '82 SC w/59k mi (nearly mint) for about $19, or, a black '86 930 with 47k mi that supposedly looks amazing(looks OK in the pics), two owner car for about $30k. I know the SC is in better condition, but what's there not to like about the Turbo other than more expensive upkeep? I am really confused as to which one to choose---should I buy the one that I can get the best deal on? I will do a PPI of course. Thanks if you can help,

I have a '83 3.2 carrera sport coupe and a '81 turbo.
They are very different cars. Drive both and see what you think.
The SC should be less expensive to keep.
If I HAD to sell one of mine the 3.2 would go. The turbo is so awesome and addictive. The turbo's power can be upgraded with another 100bhp quite easily/inexpensively compared to the SC.

Ha ha. I shouldve known I'd get slight bias here! Its a tough decision because originally I wanted the SC and this one is essentially new looking. The turbo? I'll have to take a look and drive it and if it grabs me, that's what happens. Thanks guys,
