Default OEM Wheels

What OEM wheels will fit onto an '88 930? I am going ot need another set of wheels for track tires and wanted to see what I could pick up in the classifieds that would fit onto the 930 without any significant spacers.

Thanks

7x16 and 9x16 Fuchs were standard. If you want rims for track duty you will not find a lighter, stronger rim Porsche has OEMd on their cars. If you have cash to burn, you could always go Magnesium BBSs like 930Rocket.

Id check EBay for an extra set of worn but very drivable Fuchs you can beat the hell out of.

the eariler models before '86 used the 8x16 in the rears. Fuchs are a strong wheels, you can also use aftermarket wheels like Kinesis, Fiske, or HRE.

I have a set of Fuchs, 7 and 9 x 16 for my 930 which I would be willing to part with. Original centres, polished rims. Very very good condition with a minor scuff on 2 of the wheels. Perfectly straight and true, fitted with new Toyo Proxes T1-S tires - 205/55ZR16 and 245/45ZR16. Let me know if you're interested and I can get a shipping quote. I'd also be willing to sell wheels and tires separately.

I bought them thinking that my BBSs were damaged beyond repair. Turns out they were repairable and my wife does not approve of the Fuchs so they need a new home.

Richard -

Drop me an email and we can discuss. Chances are I only want the wheels as I will mount R Comps on them.

Thanks,

Rob
