Default Long Time Ghost Is Back........

Hey guys, it's been a while. Actually, it's been a really long while. I finally have a moment to come up for air and wanted to share what I've been up to. I have done a ton of work on my garage. I built an outdoor shed for storage, air compressor, etc. I re-did all the walls in my garage, ran a bunch of electrical outlets, dedicated air supply lines, epoxied the floor, etc, etc. Now everything is clean and organized. I love it. I also have a new toy to play with. Can anyone think of some cool Porsche stuff to make

Nice Mark. What kind of stuff do you do on that Hunco machine? I just bought a tig welder so I'm aching for a project also. I'm also waiting for either the washer or dryer to die so that I can justify a nice set of stacking machines to clear up a little floor space!

The Hurco can pretty much do anything that involves 3 axis. It has rigid tapping, advanced velocity control, 10k rpm spindle, 750 ipm rapids, etc. It's pretty cool. It will cut aluminum like butter and also steels. I am designing some parts to manufacture and sell but will also be doing some contract work. I don't have any overhead and small jobs are no problem so if you need anything, just let me know. I'm in Escondido btw.

Thanks a bunch. Yes, it's speed yellow. I definately like it. It's a 993 re-body on a 70 911T. There is quite a bit of info on my website www.mark.hargett.com

Hey! your in escondido. Im in poway. I really want to learn how to weld and do metal work for my own car in the future. Glad to know someone with nice expensive machinary that is near by so i dont have to go to a shop to do it. Hopefully, the costs will be less than comparable though. hehe

Awsome garage btw and even better car. Good to see youve returned.

Mark,
I just had a full look into your website. Firstly I have to congratulate you on your new car. Your car is literally new from ground up. The workmanship is beautiful and the engine; I'm speechless. You have put in so much effort and I'm sure a lot of research on your car and thats something I really respect and look upto.
With all your effort, patience, money and knowledge you have not just a beautful piece of achine but a new one too. Congrats.

Wow, looks great and so does the car.

I thougt I had seen everything in a gagrage but the Hurco is a first for me. Doesn't make it easy to do the laundry though

Mark,
you can give your car the 993 interrior since the bodystyle is the 993. I posted a few weeks back of my friends 930 with the 993 interior.
