Not to fancy but I have my info on it. I did use Princeton Wong's pictures for my clutch because my 3 disc clutch will be in next week.

You may want to download the movie but it is 18mb I don't know how to compress it anymore.

Why Tec 2 instead of Tec3? I'm getting ready to start an EFI conversion on my car (pulled the motor today).

Seems like the car is very responsive.

David,
Very very impressive. I would have converted to EFI long time back if I had the support here in Singapore. No one here does these conversions and whats the use if I did'nt have the backup when something goes wrong. Way to go, I think you have a wonderfull setup.

Brian,

I have sent you the pictures. Tec2 was what my Engine builder had and I saved some money. It works fine but it was a mistake. I will upgrade to Tec3. Same mistake on clutch. Go with the best, cover all of the bases, you will just spend more money in the long run.

That movie was great.

Its killing me not to be able to drive my car right now, damn snow!

Is that a boost gauge right of the speedo? I would love to get one of those in my car. Also I really like that momo wheel, how much was it??

Ian,

That is a Autometer Boost Gauge and the ring was turned on a lathe. I will take more pictures when I do a DE at Sebring. Move to Florida and drive year round.

Ya, it gets you attention. It is much smoother and predictable after I installed the coilovers. I can actually hold the drift now on that ramp not so erratic.

Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a while now doing some "research" before I pull the trigger on my own.

Loved the video. I've had it on my bar for a couple days just to listen to the engine noise at my desk while working (in Minnesota it's as close as I can get right now).

I was curious though, it looked like you over ran the red line when you had that over-steer moment [Wheeee!] and again before shifting. Is there an electronic cutoff to prevent over-revving damage or is it because of your mods that passing red line for brief periods isn't as big a deal as it might be in a stock engine -- or is it not a big deal in a stock turbo either?

And did I read the dial right that you were doing 120+ in third gear? How do you guys avoid stacks of tickets? (Really, I'll need to know that one) Does anyone ever use 5th gear (outside of the track)?

Dan,

I normally shift at 7000 rpm. My rev limiter is set for 7400 rpm. This is where my engine builder set it. I will run that down to 6800 when I track the car. In the excitement it is easy to over rev. Yes third gear in a 5 speed will get you 120mph. No tickets yet and I have had the car for 5 years. This car will pull redline in 5th gear 205mph.

I like that video, especially where the back end steps out in 2nd gear and the passenger gets freaked out. Definately take some more footage, your car is awesome.

Is there a reason that you didn't plumb the exhaust from the bov back into the intake stream?

Randy,

I never heard of that. What would the advantage be? Do you know of other applications that do that?
