1163 was originally silver metallic before being repainted guards red. Appears to have a black leather interior.

One chassis number prior to my 930: #1164 certificate date Jan 1980 and #1163 certificate date Aug 1980.

Here's #1176 when I got her, and her different shoes. The 1st set of wheels came off as soon as I got the car.

When I sold her.

Salvage auction, 1979 930 Turbo, 9309801181. Hard to tell if it still has the original 85mph speedo.

Man, that was one hot fire. I wonder if it started in the car itself, or the building it was parked in?
I see someone bid $125 so far; can't imagine there are any useable parts on that thing.

What's with the right side Carrera intake, and the seemingly untouched oil cooler?

I believe this is 1979 chassis # 9309801171. It does have flush headlight washers and Nippondenso A/C compressor that would be correct for late-1979s. Great video…

That video captures exactly why I have a garage full of beater old 911's & 930's and no modern ones.

Thinking the same thing... also note the coil-over suspension, a modified beast that someone I'm sure enjoyed!
