Default 1985 Carrera Cab on BaT

Just thought this might be a good place to let members know that I have my white-over-black 1985 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet up for auction on Bring-a-Trailer.

I'm surprised that stalled out at $27k.

is the stall a sign of a plateau? the car appears to be excellent.

This car has an accident report. That's probably one reason why the value is lower

Amazing in that except for my divulging that CarFax tid-bit, close examination of the car would never have evidenced any repair (as close examination of the door and hood shut gaps would confirm).

And IIRC, even for a minor parking lot fender-bender, unless the two car owners are present and exchange the appropriate information, if the police get involved the incident will be reported - and I don't have any idea if there's a minimum dollar value threshold for that.

After I recover from my bloated Targa 4S order to be delivered in July, I'll be saving up to add air cooled coupe.
I've had a 930 cab, a G50 coupe and 2 993 coupes. from my (personal and statistically irrelevant) point of view, I wouldn't want to mess with an early cab top again. Hated dealing with the snap on top cover on my turbo cab.
Good luck with the sale though!
