Talking Porsche weekend in Canada !!

Looks like the rain has cleared all the salt off the roads in S. Ontario. This has paved the way for P-car owners to wake their babies from hybernation and take to the road this weekend. I'm sure that mine will appreciate the oportunity to warm up and get things moving a bit. It has been almost 2 months since the last time I had this chance so it's a welcome change.

I hope to see a few others out there for a quick taste of spring.

Must be nice, we here on the east coast still have too much snow and salt on the roads. At least for my liking. I am just hoping it is good by end April.

Have fun and be careful.

Thumbs up

Well, I just had her out and she ran like the day I put it away. I needed a jump but it ran as smooth as **** through a goose (Canada Goose). Anyhow, if you have a high speed connection and about 3 minutes to waste for the DL, click the link below. It is a Quicktime movie, 40 seconds of CARGASM in my Cab. About 11 meg. As you can see from the Tach & Speedo, I reached about 190kmph (120mph)

We had snow here in Victoria in January... it was hell not being able to drive the car those two days. Winter sucks!

Talking

Every time I think of spring, another load of snow comes down. Stuck in Nelson, B.C.,and really feeling sorry that some of you could not drive for two days. My 1980 SC is still hibernating. At least, I was able to do all sorts of work on it and get my rewards before I go to heaven. <img src="graemlins/sleep.gif" border="0" alt="[sleep]" />

Only a little apologetic to jump in ... but any chance we Yanks can join you for a spin around Ontario sometime. I get to Georgian Bay on occasion and would love the excuse to bring the fast car.
BTW, hats off to your players and skaters. They were great!

..I went out for a ride Sunday. The car started very easily and while it idled and ran rough for the first five minutes, my 40 mile ride was smooth and the bursch muffler took the raspy snarl out of my car.

Cant wait till next time!!
