If you do have 930 brakes and that bumps you up into a class you don't want to be in -OR- you have SC brakes and you want a bit more ie Carrera brakes, I have a set of Carrera calipers and drilled Zimmerman rotors I would love to offer to the cause. May even know someone interested in the 930's if you need to sell them. Just a thought.

To my untrained eye, brakes look stock.

If it ran as a G car (now D) then it has stock SC brakes on it. If you are going to rebuild the engine to Euro SC spec and run E class, you cannot upgrade the brakes to 930, or even 84-89 Carrera brakes. Both would result in a bump to F class so leave the SC brakes on the car. Just make sure you have plenty of cooling going to them (it may already) and they will function fine. Additional cooling, good race pads, and brake fluid will do the job. You will probably have to rebuild the calipers at least once a season since they are on the small side. Since 84-89 Carreras had a thicker rotor, using a Carrera caliper will cause the piston to reach too far (saw that on a customer car).

If the engine is sound, then run it as is and then rebuild to euro spec when it needs a refresh since there seem to be more cars in E than in D these days.

That's an unusual tail as well, it looks to be extended as was the case on the IROC cars

Can't tell from the pictures but are the gutters smoothed too?
