Default Fuch wheels

I know most Carreras came with 6" & 7" Fuchs however I noticed some have the optional 8". Are 8's rare and what can I expect to pay for a set of 7&8's?

Also, I know Fuchs is still in business but it does not look like they still make Fuch wheels for 1980's cars. Anyone know why?

I've seen 7x8s between 2k and up depending on the finish. I've seen new sets of 7&9s not sure of they are NOS or basically new production.

If I remember, the 3.2 came standard with 6/8x15 phone dials, but almost all cars were ordered with the optional 6/7x16 Fuchs.

Back then a 16 inch wheel was exotic.

Fuchs has had subsequent production runs.

Numerous sizes currently available...

Word on the street is that the anodizing isn't as original as the, well... originals. Including stories of some new wheel purchasers having them refinished anyway. I haven't inspected the new wheels yet, so I can't say.

Fikse makes 17" Fuchs. Drool!

I have the 17" Fikse/ZUFFENHAUS on my car. They are super wheels. Expect a 7-8 week wait for them and you have to pay IN FULL up front.

Do you have the Fikse or Euromeister's? Or a combination?

17 by 8 and 9 Custom make by Lindsey Racing. These are made out of original 16 x 6 Fuchs. Centers cut and welded into 17 barrels.

Mike does fantastic work. I love em.

Chad, could you post some close ups of the lips from a couple angles?

You went with 9s and 11s? What offsets did you specify? Are you running with or without the factory rear spacer? Did you have to massage your fender lips at all?

My bad! They are the Fikse/ZUFFENHAUS wheels. I'll correct my previous post.
