Jack, I have seen and pawed over 100s and 100s of wonderful 911s. Yours is a freaking beauty! One of my favorites. Must be an absolute blast to drive. Wicked good photos too! I'll have one of mine at Rennsport in Daytona. Hope to see you there or at least in Monte-rey with RGang again. I'll have a car there too. Here's a couple...RS 3.0 and Roadster.

 

Thanks. I've always been a one-911 guy (who's nonetheless jealous of the guys who have had more than one). I won't be at Daytona, but I will be at Monterey.

now i really cant wait for it to hit barnes and nobles! it had Jacks rsr too!!

 

 

i dont know whats in it or not, but the 912 rendezvous was covered by excelence. marco, the writer is a great guy, and we talked alot about journalism, and what steps i should take.


i recieved an annonamous message on the 356 section a few mos ago...

its not like its a feature article, probably one sentence or somthing, saying i drove from ohio to get there.

 

Two Rennlisters in one great mag....this place rocks.

 

Same writer for both, too. I haven't seen the issue (since it apparently is sent to the west coast by mule train), but a guy out east scanned my article for me, including the contents page.

its not at barnes and nobels yet either.. stopped there after the earlier posts.

 

Marco (the writer of both articles), is such a great guy! really cool and laid back, and that guy knows his stuff! i cant say enough good things about him.

oh and speaking of Marco, heres a shot of him (all be it a bad one, blindly taken out of a sun roof) in Jeff Trasks 69 hw targa, catching up with one of the guys who i was riding with (since mine was broken down with a blown valve spring). we were doing about 103 comming from one of the winereys (sp).. clearly Marco gives his thumbs up approval!

 

So Jack:

I hooked up with Noah "What a Cool Guy" Pollock yesterday and took a spin in his hopped up 3.0. Great motor BTW, feels like 240+ hp.

Noah: So, what are you doing?

Me: Just trying to be cool.

Noah: Looks like it comes easy.

Me: Takes all my time!

Then I get home to find the new Excellence in the mail. You Bastard! You realize you've just raised the bar again for the rest of us!!!
