I have a question for anybody that has installed their own top. I have everything looking good and tight but there is a 3/8" gap between the rubber seal and the body of the car above the rear wheel areas. Is it possible I have it all too tight? Or is there a way to adjust this? I haven't read anything that indicates others having problems with this. I have tried loosening the rear three adjusters under the window and adjusting the adjusting peg on the sides. Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks

Hi Yeti,
964 top should be the same. Here is my install-

The metal pieces on the inside of the top, where you're having trouble, would set the position. My new top had a pocket sewn for the metal pieces to slip into, so there wasn't much room for error here. Not sure what yours looked like. There is also a rubber seal that sits on top of the body seam in that area.

Hope this helps. There aren't many folks who have replaced their own top that I know of. It is a definitely a pain.
