17" Euromeister Fuchs on an '87 Carrera
Anyone running 17" Fuch's on an '87 911? Their website shows that they won't fit but I have definitely seen it in the past. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

I know this guy was running the following which is pretty much what I want to run!
Euro Meister / Fuchs Replica Wheels with Powder Coated Black Color (7J & 9J x 17 with R_15mm Adaptor)
Toyo / R888 Tires 225/45 & 255/40R17

Wheels
I had the same wheels and tire sizes on my 1989 3.2 coupe, it was not lowered so there were no issues. I sold the wheels and tires I had Michelin Super Sports. The big advantage with the 17" wheels is much broader tire selection. I sold the tires and wheels and will be putting on turbo Fuchs 16" 7's and 9's when I get them back from Weidman Wheels this week. Euromeister are a decent value for the money.

I'm running 7.5F and 9R on 17s but its not Euromeisters. I have Rota Fox (Linea Corse Fox) on 225/45 and 245/40 by 17s on lowered height.

I entered this thread initially to say "17's look too big on a 3.2"...... but then I saw JQ911's pic above and completely changed my mind - your car's stance looks fantastic!
Is overall tire diameter the same?

Haven't looked on the diameter yet if its the same. Had the height adjustment done in trials until I was comfortable with the ride. Initial drop was too low and had to make some trial runs before I settled to this height. Everything is stock except I had to change turbo tie rods and a bump steer kit.
I made a lot of changes to bring it back to factory look. Here it is now back to basics look

" 17 inch wheels"
Here are 17" Zuffenhaus wheels (7.5 and 9)on my 88 Carrera Sport Coupe. I had the front wheel well rims rolled to make sure there were no clearance issues. The car is also lowered to EU specs. These are 3 piece light weight wheels. The centers are painted body color. They are a high quality work of art and I highly recommend them. They don't look to big for the car if you set it up right.
Just thought i would through my 2 cents into the discussion.........

I was originally thinking about running 52 Outlaw 16"x8" and 16X9" wheels on my car. Now I'm thinking about going with the Euromeisters in that same size. They are just SO CHEAP! I don't track my car, so they should be fine. Question, what size tires could I run being that I have a wide body? I want to fit as much tire as possible.

Looks great, what sizes did you go with? For the money it doesn't seem like there is a better option out there.
Beautiful car rshea, love the setup!

Euromeister specs:
Front 17x7 ET23.3
Rear 17x9 ET15
Fit with no spacers on an SC / Carrera standard body. 205 front / 255 rear should fit on all cars. Most 225s should fit up front if you run a little camber and/or do lip work. (Not all 225 width tires are the same, believe it or not.) 245s in back are a little happier on a 9" wide wheel, but 255s look nice and chunky.
I had my Euromeister fronts widened to 9" and run 245s with rolled fenders and camber, they barely fit.
The big benefit to going 17" is tire selection. There's virtually nothing good in 15" or 16" anymore that is around the 25" tall diameter of the OE tires.
