Default '87 Targa

Here's mine with the same setup as Cevan's. Next is to get the ride height/rake adjusted.

Automotion's search tool is no good, as they have their years all messed up. The rims fit with no issues at all, so I wouldn't worry. Plus you already seen examples from others here! I have 9 inch 17's in the back no issues at all!

Is overall tire diameter the same?

17's, imo, look good with the SC/Carrera paint job...black centers and polished lip.
If you do an early RS/R with alloy painted spokes then they do look too big.

Default Will these 17 inch fit?

I have bought these wheels for my 1980: 7j x 17 et 40 and 9j x 17 et 50

Now I see that in similar wheels have a et 16 on the back instead of et 50 on these, will this be a big problem or can be fixed with spacers?

The off set is really big, as if the wheels were made for a newer Porsche. The original off set for our cars is 15ET (9x17) for the rear and 23ET (17x7) for the front, which the Euromeisters and others have copied, so you will have to install really big spacers. It could work, is just the fact that the spacers will be really big and I'm not sure it will be safe. The rims look good though, so good luck!

Ok thx die the info, I hope they will fit as they would look really great on the new black colour...
Currently there are cup 2 wheels in 17 inch under the car and they Also fit great and these are also made for later 911 models...

Before you go too far with those wheels , you might want to check if your wheel studs will be long enough to
support spacers ... they are definitely the wrong offset !

Plus One on the studs! Like Wildcat077 said, definitely they will have to be longer studs that is for sure, if you are going to use those wheels!

This is my 88 Coupe with 17 by 7 and 9 Euromeister's. I am actually thinking about going back to the 16 by 7 and 8's I have.
