Let's wait until she's off the trailer. Ken could still change his mind.

Actually I am not sure yet. Could return to bone stock, or make her a roller and sell to next guy, or go long hood, or just flip her as is. Really depends. I am hoping my brother takes a liking to her. We'll see. May take a liking to her myself and make her my main squeeze.

She's here. ....well, she's at the house and I'm back at my office.

Single stage paint, RS interior, rollbar, pile of extras, yada yada, ...

Now for the personal mental testing. Can I do this? Can I handle the challenge of putting a car back together that is mostly not there? Do I have what it takes? It's my emotions that I'm worried about, not my mechanical skills. Ask any of the guys that have had to practically hold my hand through the simplest of projects. I can turn a wrench, but can I handle a project that may take years and years to see come together? We'll see.

Doug, can you get some 4x6 blocks under that pallet? I'm thinking of the BIL here.

She'll be locked to the fence tonight and behind the gate either here or at my mother's over the weekend.

Wish it was a roller. ...but yes, I am very excited. How the heck did it get bright work and a 356 color?

It needs "R" tail lights with surrounds that ARE PAINTED TO MATCH THE BODY COLOR.

Just kidding, Doug. Hahahaha!!

Not only am I getting Elayne's want list, but now I'm getting it from the peanut gallery as well?

Let's just say that looking at Roxanna, then looking at Ruby, then looking back at Roxanna, then back over at Ruby, one thing is clear.....Roxanna is a very nice car. Not to say that Ruby isn't, I've just had seven years to replace every conceivable little tidbit that needed attention with an eye toward my personal preferences, that at this point, I can sit back and say that I have done OK with mine so far. Long way to go, but she is indeed a nice car.

I see Ruby as a narrow body long hood. Not insanely over the top with center gas fill and R front lights, but certainly center mount oil cooler, single chrome mirror, and polished pedal wheels. I want to duplicate my door cards and go manual heat, stereo delete, finish off the A/C delete, and leave the rollbar in place. Also want to do some of the trim in the back and on the doors and dash in suede to match the door card. That kind of stuff I can do blindfolded. Now to convince Brian that my money is good there.

Glad it's in good hands. I've got no excuses now with TWO trailers for storage, and nearly 1K sq ft of sudden adequate shop space, for the '73 to get finished off.

Hey, I could pick up Rusnak and make a three day weekend of it some time. We could have that thing done in no time.....then you could reciprocate.

Well, with almost 40 sets of sockets in my toolbox at this point, you and I have some further workin' and trading to do.
