Post wooden "pedal board" on '71 911

Years ago I removed the plywood board that rests in the pedal area on my early 911T. I had planned to replace it with a freshly cut piece of Marine Plywood, but the origional crumbled into fragments when I pulled it up.

I'd like to replace it now because in addition to holding up the carpet, it also helps keep the accelerator pedal verticle.

The only problem is, I haven't seen this in any of the major parts catalogs I get.

Thanks in advance for any leads...
Scott

Scott, I am making ones out of Aluminium for your car. They are CNC machined and will fit well. I just finished some sets for the early cars.I am charging 150.00 per set (driver and passenger side). I can anodize them in black , silver and red. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks James - I want to be sure we're talking about the same item because on my car there is nothing on the passanger side unless it was removed already removed by someone else.

My only "board" was set at a 45 degree angle behind the peddle surfaces but in front of the hardward that connects the pedals to the floor.

my car's a '71 T... ?

James

I would definitely be interested in the floor plates for my 76 930. Please send me some pics as well to schigara@atlantic.net

Thanks, Dave

I just picked up one of the drilled ones for the driver's side. It fit better than a brand new wood one that I got from Porsche a year ago. It looks good too. It's a rennline unit that I think James makes. Excellent product. I put it in with a little thin weatherstripping where it contacts the car just for the hell of it.

Thumbs up

Would highly recomend getting a set of the CNC floorboards from James. The price is very resonable as you can pay $100.00 for just the drivers side and they are still made of wood.I put a set in a couple of weeks ago and they look great!!
