Post no signals tail lights HELP!!

Although I rarely drive the 73 to the track sometimes I do. I all of a sudden do not have tail/brake lights, or front/rear turn signals or parking lamps. Still have interior lights. Interior signals show no lights or sounds Replaced all fuses the other day and the fuse for license plate light nub broke off, but that should't affect the other lights?? What do I look for?? I need these things on the road. HELP!!!! <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" />

also on the circut is the backup lights...so check the switch on the transmission...if there is a problem at the switch, you can expect problems with all the other lights you listed. Check the fuse again...I am willing to answer this question since I dealt with this a little over a month ago. Good luck.

Question

I'm actually having a related problem too. My back up lights won't work and I keep blowing the fuse for my brake lights and turn signals.

Are these both related then? Should I look at the backup light switch on the transmission?
Thanks Glenn

Update. I have passenger rear parking lamp. When I use my hazard all but the right front blink just fine. My fuse for the license plate light is mising(as is the post) but I am not sure if this ision the circuit. But still no signals. Not even the clicking sound or green indicators inside.

Confusing part is everything was working just fine not long ago..

Glenn...check the backup light switch.

Todd, have you checked the flasher assembly? This may also be part of your problem.

Where is it, and how do I test it?

If the fuse keeps going you have a short circuit somewhere. Try looking in the light assembly first.

the flasher assembly is in the dash, behind the oil guage.
