Default New to me 83 911 SC

After reading for months and watching cars as they come on the market, I chose this lovely Ruby Red SC.

Took a quick drive through the country and the car runs and drives like a new one.

Thanks to Mark and his wife Linda for safe uneventful delivery via Intercity.

A little more info. My new toy has 148k on the clock, engine and tranny was rebuilt at 131k, reprinted in its original color in 2001, came with a 4" binder of repair history that dates back to 1991, has a wevo short shifter, Borsch exhaust, aftermarket CD player, otherwise prettymuch stock. No rust anywhere. Here are a few pics.

Man, looks really clean and cared for.
For a sec I thought I was looking at my interior. I have the same wheel and canted my speedo so I can see it in that exact same manner.
Get some suede cleaner and a scuffer to re nap your wheel.
I'm guessing that emissions for our year car is not an issue in Indiana as you have a straight pipe in place of the cat...that's a good thing then..see below.
Then some SSI"s and sport muf and, and, well you'll figure that part out.

David, nice pics of your beautiful friend. She seems to have found a loving home; that's what she deserves. Enjoy.
