Standard bearings/ standard sized crankshaft. When an engine is rebuilt often one has to regrind the crankshaft to remove scoring/wear and then use non standard sized bearings.
In many 911's that is not the case, the cranks and bearings really last and more then normally can be rebuilt with standard sized bearings.
Reiver: thank you I figured it had something to do with standard, but I just wanted to be sure I see it in a lot of engine build threads and some for sale threads.
