Whale Tail...to keep or not to keep.

50 lbs? Really? I doubt the intercooler weighs 50 lbs.
And yes you should not run the front spoiler without the back spoiler. Well maybe if you are doing 100 mph in the rain and let off in the corner. lol
IMO Changes like this are for personal taste, so do what makes you feel good.

I'd add that having no tail can, and will alter the handling of the car (in a bad way) at speed. I much prefer a tail on a 911, to not having one. But, everyone's needs are different.

This probably tantamount to cursing in church, but having had a week to think about it and ponder and ogle pics, I'm kind of starting to think that the t-tail is ok. I actually like the way it looks it better than the Carrera tail, which seems a bit...flat to me. I'll have to ponder this some more...

if the Carrera tail seems a bit flat, how about the 1975-77 whale tail (either OEM or aftermarket)?
